Together they can handle a maximum capacity of 5,000 lbs at speeds of up to 1,200 fpm, with the 10-inch diameter wheels on the Express-3 providing a smoother, quieter ride.
High-rise buildings
Moving residents quickly, quietly, and comfortably in high-rise apartment buildings is easy with the Model A car guide and Model C counterweight guide combination.
This guide pairing can operate at speeds of up to 800 fpm with a maximum capacity of 7,000 lbs, all while minimizing hoistway noise and elevator cabin vibration for a better experience.
Low- to mid-rise buildings
Elevators in low- to mid-rise buildings typically have a capacity of around 3,500 lbs and operate at speeds up to 300 feet per minute.
